Alta precoz intrahospitalaria en fracturas de la cadera. Early intra-hospital discharge in hip fractures

Resumen

Se realizó un análisis descriptivo y transversal de las historias clínicas de 399 pacientes ingresados en el Hospital Provincial Docente Clínico Quirúrgico "León Cuervo Rubio" de Pinar del Río, que presentaron fracturas de la cadera, incluida como cuestión primordial la morbilidad y letalidad en este tipo de lesión en el periodo comprendido 1994-1998. Igualmente se utiliza el método de alta precoz y movilización precoz creado en nuestro servicio y siempre con la aprobación del paciente y/o familiares, después de realizar el tratamiento quirúrgico y sin abandonar las técnicas actuales para esta patología. Se concluye con los resultados obtenidos en este estudio y las ventajas biopsicosocial del paciente.

ABSTRACT

A descriptive transversal analysis was made of the medical histories of 399 patients who were admitted at the " León Cuervo Rubio" Memorial Provincial Clinical Surgical " Hospital of Pinar del Río, who had hip fractures, including as a first degree subject morbility and mortality in this kind of lesion in the period comprised from 1994 to 1998. Early discharge is also used as well as early mobilization created in our service and always with the approval of the patient or his relatives after the surgical treatment and without neglecting the present techniques used for the pathology. Results obtained in this study are included as well as bio-psycho-social advantages for the patient.
