La calidad en Salud Pública
Resumen
Esta revisión se hace con el objetivo de motivar a los trabajadores de salud en la necesidad de la implementación de sistemas de "Gestión de la Calidad", familiarizándolos con algunos de los elementos más importantes de la calidad en salud. Se hace una revisión de los elementos de la calidad y la importancia de la implementación de sistemas de "Gestión de la Calidad" en las unidades de salud, destacando las dificultades encontradas en estudios internacionales en cuanto a la seguridad médica y la organización de los servicios médicos, en busca de la satisfacción de los usuarios y la eficiencia en los servicios de salud. Se plantea la necesidad de la formulación de indicadores para la evaluación de los procesos en los servicios de salud.
