Abstract

Aimed at identifying the main difficulties that are affecting clinical-basic link, a survey was applied to 20 professors of the staff in biomedical basic sciences and a group-work with the whole teaching staff of the medical school (Methodological Assemble 2000-2001). The results showed that most of the difficulties stem from the ignorance of the guiding documents of the syllabuses for Medical Studies, poor functioning of Vertical and Horizontal Committees, as well as the specific ones for the basic sciences, among others. On the basis of the difficulties observed new methodological actions were proposed in order to improve clinical-basic link in medical studies.
