Efectividad del tabacum 12 ch en el tratamiento del tabaquismo.

Con el propósito de evaluar los efectos de la administración de Tabacum 12 CH en fumadores, se administró este medicamento en 274 pacientes, 130 mujeres y 144 hombres supuestamente sanos. La edad promedio fue de 38 años, aunque se registra un rango de 18 a 50. Se preparó una tintura madre de hoja de tabaco seco a partir de la cual se obtuvieron dinamodiluciones sucesivas, manteniendo una proporción entre drogas y vehículo de 1/100. Se administró la dinamodilución 12 (Tabacum 12 CH) a una dosis de 4 gotas cada 8 horas por vía oral (sublingual). El consumo diario de cigarrillos disminuyó a partir de la cuarta semana de tratamiento hasta aproximarse a cero en la semana 12.
