Information-educational technologies in the training process of values in college students

Introduction: scientific and technical development occurred in recent decades, it has strengthened the development of educational technologies and the formation of values in college students, who are not beyond these changes.Objective: to characterize the information-educational technologies in the training process of values in college students.
Material and method: a study of pedagogical section, guided by dialectical-materialist method, which allowed the use of theoretical, empirical and statistical methods (descriptive), was conducted. In the first ones historical and logical with systemic-structural methods were used, applying surveys and interviews on the second group. A sample of study represented by 125 students from Pinar del Rio University of Medical Sciences was chosen intentionally.
Results: students considered professors play a very important role in the formation of values, they believe itthis is significant for their future training and development as health professionals; having a positive assessment regarding the use of information technology to strengthen values; though they have not enough technological tools in the institution.
Conclusions: technological tools that can be used in university education to strengthen values are insufficient. The development of projects is proposed to increase computer products and software production to ensure this conception in college students.
