Abstract

This research was aimed at précising the appropriate preparation of the students for the entrance examinations to University in Biology subject. Surveys, visits to classes, literature analysis and evaluative tools were carried out in several high schools in Pinar del Río Province in order to analyze the problems. Results obtained showed the existence of difficulties in the preparation of the students opting for studies in the field of Medical Sciences.
