Materialistic-dialectic from the health care science

Introduction: the contribution that is sought in this article resides in contributing to enrich the cognitive activity of health care science from a vision of the materialistic-dialectic analysis as a conception, focus and approach.
Method: theoretical-reflexive study from the systematic observation, the reflection, the interpretation, and systematization of the scientific practice when assuming as reference point of the materialistic-dialectic approach, to develop new knowledge.
Results: the application of the materialistic-dialectic conception had as starting point a group of ideas, concepts, judgments and criteria, faced by the authors in the study of the phenomenon of violence against boys and girls; considering the experience of the social historical development of the phenomenon under study, both worldwide and national scale.
Discussion: the deep knowledge of the nursing care, its essence as a discipline, provided to act according to the imperative necessity of dealing with this enormous social load and of the public health generated by the violence against childhood.
Conclusions: the systematic examination of nursing care practice, its effect in the patients or in the individual care, family, or community taking the materialistic-dialectic analysis as a conception, focus and approach as a useful tool to deepen in its study.
