Mapas conceptuales para formación de habilidades profesionales en estudiantes de la carrera de Estomatología

Introduction: the improvement of the training process of professionals is addressed in this research with a didactic developer’s approach, where it should be taught to reinforce the intrinsic learning system of each person.
Objective: to design a concept map for the training process of communicative diagnostic of professional skills in the students of the 4th academic year of dentistry studies.
Method: the study was based on the dialectical-materialist method for its ability to integrate the qualitative and quantitative analysis of this training process of communicative diagnostic of professional skills through documentary review and diagnosis.
Results: the establishment of the theoretical foundations from the didactic developer. The proposal of the design of a concept map for the training of the communicative diagnostic skills in 4th academic year students, guaranteeing the best mastery of the modes of action, with a systemic, coherent and integrating character, that are complemented also through the training courses for professors of the specialty and methodological workshops in order to reinforce the development of interdisciplinary and academic-year relationships.
Conclusions: the training process to develop skills is insufficient, and the development of these is not included in the card of skills. The design of a concept map to the training of communicative diagnostic skills in these students is provided.
