Process mapping of Pinar del Rio University of Medical Sciences

In order to develop the process mapping of Pinar del Rio University of Medical Sciences, documentary reviews, meetings and interviews to executives, to the heads of university studies, departments, subjects, programs and heads of the services were conducted to identify the processes completed, these were classified as strategic, substantive and supportive. Managers and workers were informed about the entire process. At the strategic level, six key processes were included, along with eleven in the substantive and ten ones in the supportive. A consensus process mapping was obtained, which was approved by the managers and workers as a preliminary step for the establishment of a management system to improve the processes within the organization.
