Abstract

La educación es un derecho humano y a la vez un proceso indispensable para la construcción de un desarrollo humano sostenible. Por esa razón, la educación está llamada a desarrollar el sentido creativo, a promover valores culturales universales y a desarrollar la conciencia de las responsabilidades de las generaciones presentes hacia las futuras. Los acelerados cambios que vive la humanidad exigen a la educación superior ofrecer a la sociedad profesionales con una sólida formación ética. Se realizó un estudio descriptivo, prospectivo y longitudinal donde se valoró el papel del profesor en la formación de valores del técnico básico en enfermería a través del cumplimiento del Proyecto Integral de Trabajo Educativo. El universo estuvo constituido por los 156 estudiantes de 1er. año de la carrera y la muestra fue de 85, el universo de profesores fue de 18, que constituyó la muestra a los cuales se les aplicó una encuesta. Se utilizaron como variables: la motivación, influencia del profesor en la motivación, trabajo del profesor guía y la labor del profesor en la formación de valores. Fue evidente que la mayoría de los estudiantes están motivados por su profesión y el profesor ha influido positivamente en ellos, el trabajo del profesor guía es valorado por la mayoría de los estudiantes y profesores de adecuado, contribuyendo así al fortalecimiento de los valores esenciales para formar un egresado integral. Estos resultados se reflejaron en gráficos y tablas estadísticas.

ABSTRACT

A descriptive prospective and longitudinal study was carried out aimed at assessing the role of the professor in the training of the Basic Technician in Nursing through the fulfillment of the tasks of the Comprehensive Project of the Educative Work. The universe consisted of 156 students in the first academic year of the study and the sample consisted of 85 who were surveyed. The variables used were: motivation, influence of the professor in the motivation work of the leading teacher and work of the professor in the training of these students. It was evident that most of the students are motivated by their profession and that the professor has influenced positively on these students, the work of the leading professor is assessed by most of the students as a proper work strengthening the essential values in the training of a comprehensive graduate. The results are observed in graphics and statistical tables
