Perfeccionamiento de los recursos humanos de enfermería / Training of the Nursing Manpower
Abstract
Se realizó un estudio descriptivo retrospectivo para conocer sobre la formación de recursos humanos de Enfermería, en el Hospital "Abel Santamaría Cuadrado", de Pinar del Río en el curso académico 2006/2007. En el presente estudio se realizó una amplia revisión documental de la formación del nuevo personal de enfermería y superación de los técnicos de enfermería que laboran en dicho hospital. Además nos referimos a la superación y obtención del grado científico en la mencionada especialidad y las perspectivas en la formación y utilización de los recursos humanos de enfermería del nuevo modelo de formación del licenciado en enfermería; planificación de los recursos humanos para la salud y características generales de la carrera de licenciatura en Enfermería. La información se obtuvo de archivos del departamento de docencia del mencionado hospital. Los resultados arrojaron que en el tiempo de estudio se formaron 411 enfermeros, elevándose de esta forma el nivel científico técnico y la calidad de la atención. La información fue procesada por el método porcentual y se presentan los resultados a través de tablas.

ABSTRACT
A retrospective descriptive study is carried out in order to know the training of the nursing manpower in the "Abel Santamaría Cuadrado Hospital". Pinar del Río during the academic course 2006/2007 in Pinar del Río City. In the present study a wide document review is performed on the training of the new nursing personnel and the nursing technicians who work in the hospital. We will also refer to the training and use of the nursing manpower and the new training model of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing , planning of the health manpower as well as the general characteristics of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The information was obtained from the records of the Teaching Department at the hospital, results yielded that 411 nurses are studying during the time analyzed elevating the scientific level and the quality of the health care, information was processed by the percent method and the results are presented in Tables.
