Comportamiento del otorgamiento de las carreras de enfermería y tecnología de la salud / Behavior of the Ways of Enrollment in Nursing and Health Technology Majors
Abstract
Se realizó un estudio aplicando el método descriptivo para presentar los resultados en tablas y gráficos. Se aplicó la prueba de comparación de media para grupos independientes que describen el comportamiento del otorgamiento de las carreras de Licenciatura en Enfermería y de Tecnología de la Salud para estudiantes de preuniversitarios de la provincia de Pinar del Río en el curso escolar 2007-2008. Se tuvo en cuenta a los aspirantes de duodécimo grado que pedían estas especialidades, 1360, lo cual representa un 30% de la matrícula general, distribuidos en 23 preuniversitarios con que cuenta la provincia, para lo cual hay un plan de plazas aprobado de 994. Se procedió a hacer el otorgamiento según el algoritmo de asignación que se utiliza para preuniversitario indicado por el MES, pero de forma manual. Como resultados más importantes que se obtuvieron se aprecia que el 30% de la matrícula de preuniversitario solicita estas especialidades, que la carrera más solicitada es Tecnología de la Salud en los perfiles de Terapia Física, Prótesis dental e Imagen, que el 100% de las plazas de Tecnología de la Salud en todos los municipios fueron cubiertas y en el caso de Licenciatura en Enfermería se cubrió en un 91,3 en la provincia. Del total de aspirantes no obtuvieron carreras 400. Los índices de corte se comportan de distintas maneras en cada territorio, aunque en el municipio de Pinar del Río se registran los índices más altos en la mayoría de los perfiles de Tecnología.

ABSTRACT
A study was carried out using the descriptive method for presenting the results showed in Tables and Graphics. The comparative mean test was used for separate groups describing the behaviour of enrollment in nursing and health technology majors in High School students, Pinar del Rio province during 2007- 2008 course. Considering 1360 students (30%) in twelfth grade who were opting for these majors, distributed in 23 high schools in the whole province. The enrollment was carried out according to the assignment algorithm used in the high school indicated by the High Education Ministry, but manually. As more important results, it was appreciated that 30% of the students registered in high schools opted for these majors, being the Health Technology within the profiles of Physic Therapy, Dental Prosthesis and Imaging the most requested. From the total of candidates 400 did not obtain majors. The scores used for the enrollment were different in every territory, although the highest were recorded in most of the technology profile in the area of Pinar del Río municipality .
