Efectos curativos de una solución hidroalcohólica de propóleos en la terapéutica estomatológica. Propolium Healing Effects in Stomatological Therapy
Abstract
Aprovechando los efectos del propóleo en la necesidad de encontrar alternativas de tratamiento, se realizo un estudio de las acciones curativas del mismo en una muestra de 150 pacientes que asistieron a la Clínica Estomatológica "José Martí", de Consolación del Sur, utilizando para ello capsulas de propóleos al 5% en las alveolitis y pinceladas al 10% en gingivitis crónica edematosa, hiperestesia dentinaria, necrosis pulpar, periodontopatías, absceso periapical, absceso periodontal y aftas bucales; obteniéndose la curación mas temprana de las alveolitis, hiperestesia dentinaria y gingivitis crónica edematosa con propóleos, en comparación con los tratamientos convencionales.

ABSTRACT
A sample of 150 patients was included in a study aiming to know the healing properties of propoleum as an alternative treatment. The sample was taken from Jose Marti Stomatological Clinic, Consolacion del Sur, Pinar del Rio. During the study, 5% propoleum capsules were used for alveolitis and 10% peniciling for chronic edematous gingivitis, pulpar necrosis, dentinal hypersthesia, periodontopathy, periapical abscess, periodontal abscess and bucal aphthas. Alveolitis, dentinal hypersthesia and chronic edematous gingivitis had a sucessful evolution when treated with propoleum as compared to conventional treatments.
