Sensibilización docente en la atención a estudiantes con necesidades educativas especiales: revisión sistemática

Introducción: las actitudes docentes hacia la inclusión están mediadas por factores como la autoeficacia percibida para enseñar en contextos diversos, las experiencias previas con estudiantes con necesidades educativas especiales, la calidad de la formación recibida y el nivel de apoyo institucional disponible.
Objetivo: determinar si los programas de sensibilización docente mejoran las actitudes, competencias y prácticas inclusivas en docentes responsables del trabajo con estudiantes con necesidades educativas especiales.
Métodos: se efectuó una revisión sistemática de la literatura científica en diversas bases de datos. La búsqueda se realizó mediante un algoritmo con palabras clave y operadores booleanos, permitiendo identificar fuentes relevantes. Los estudios seleccionados, tras aplicar criterios de inclusión y exclusión, fueron analizados críticamente considerando actualidad, calidad metodológica y pertinencia temática, integrándose en la síntesis final de la revisión.
Desarrollo: la sensibilización docente frente a las necesidades educativas especiales constituye un eje decisivo para la construcción de prácticas pedagógicas verdaderamente inclusivas. Sin embargo, dicha sensibilización no opera como un fenómeno automático ni lineal, sino como un proceso complejo que articula actitudes, creencias, emociones, contextos institucionales y experiencias formativas significativas. Cuando los procesos de concienciación se diseñan de manera intencionada y sostenida, se observan mejoras relevantes en las actitudes docentes, en la percepción de autoeficacia profesional y en la disposición hacia el trabajo inclusivo.
Conclusiones: es fundamental la construcción de mentalidades ego-compartidas, capaces de pensar las decisiones desde su impacto colectivo, reconocer que la sensibilización, más que un punto de partida es un proceso continuo de responsabilidad ética, social y humana.
