Introduction: Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) corresponds to a heterogeneous group of tumors defined by the absence of estrogen and progesterone hormone receptors and the lack of expression of human epidermal growth factor 2 (HER-2). Objective: To characterize patients diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer treated at the Hospital III Congreso Cancer Patient Care Center in Pinar del Río province during the period 2018-2020. Method: A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted. The sample consisted of 62 patients diagnosed with histologically confirmed triple-negative breast cancer. The variables considered were age, skin color, histological variant, tumor size, lymph node status, vascular and lymphatic invasion, histological and nuclear grade, clinical stages, and treatment. Descriptive statistics were used, and distributions were determined in frequencies and percentages. Tables were created for a better understanding of the results. Results: The predominant age group was 60 years and older, with white skin color, the most frequent histological diagnosis was infiltrating ductal carcinoma, clinical stage II prevailed, axillary lymph node involvement and non-vascular and lymphatic invasion predominated, and surgery followed by chemotherapy were the most frequently used treatments.
