Se realizó un estudio retrospectivo de los pacientes operados de tumores mixtos de glándulas salivales en el Servicio de Cirugía Maxilofacial del Hospital "Abel Santamaria" de Pinar del Río en el periodo comprendido entre los años 1992 a 1998, fueron operados un total de 48 pacientes, 7 correspondieron a la variedad de tumores malignos. Dentro de nuestros propósitos además de saber la variedad histológica estaba el conocer la incidencia según glándulas afectadas. Se obtuvo que 27 pacientes tenían afectada la parótida, en 6 pacientes se presentó la tumoración en las glándulas submaxilares y 15 en las glándulas accesorias, el sexo predominante fue el masculino, incidiendo mayormente en pacientes de edad avanzada.
