Abstract

Se realizó una investigación descriptiva - longitudinal con el objetivo de perfeccionar el Programa de Educación en el Trabajo para una mejor conducción y desarrollo de alumnos y tutores en el perfil Gestión de Información en Salud (GIS), se aplico el método de encuesta anónima de preguntas cerradas dicotómicas a una muestra de 60 tutores de las diferentes unidades hospitalarias (Hospitales, Policlínicos) y Centros docentes (Filial de Tecnología de la salud, Facultad de Ciencias Medicas) del municipio Pinar del Río, coincidiendo con el universo de trabajo, comprobándose que las mayores dificultades radican en que 53 tutores desconocen la prioridad de las habilidades a desarrollar en sus estudiantes, así como 44 no poseen conocimientos en relacionar las diferentes habilidades a determinadas asignaturas; siendo la totalidad de los encuestados los que opinan la necesidad de perfeccionar especificando dicho programa. Partiendo de los resultados obtenidos hemos dosificado por disciplinas, semestres y asignaturas las habilidades que corresponden desarrollar en los diferentes años de la carrera, se programaron las rotaciones relacionándolas con las asignaturas que se imparten, realizando así las evaluaciones a los estudiantes al concluir cada rotación.

ABSTRACT

A descriptive-longitudinal research was conducted aimed at improving the program of study for the subject "Education in Work" to a better direction and development of students and tutors in the field of Management of Health Information. The method of anonymous survey with close dichotomy questions was applied to a sample of 60 tutors from the different hospitals units (Hospitals, Polyclinics) and Teaching Centers (Health Affiliate Technology, Medical University) in Pinar del Rio municipality, in agreement with the spaces of work. The majority of the difficulties were found in 53 tutors that did not know the priority of skills students must develop, 44 did not acquire knowledge when linking the different abilities to specific subjects. The totality of those polled referred about the need of improving the program of study. Considering the results obtained: skills to be developed throughout the different academic years were divided into subjects and terms, rotations related to the subjects taught as well, scheduling evaluations at the end of each rotation.
