Análisis del comportamiento de algunos factores perinatales en neonatos con encefalopatía hipóxica isquémica. Behavioring analysis of some perinatal factors in newborns with ischaemic hypoxic encephalopathia
Abstract
Se realizó un estudio descriptivo y prospectivo durante el año 1994 en el Hospital Gineco Obstétrico "Justo Legón" de Pinar del Río, en el cual fueron admitidos los recién nacidos con algún grado de encefalopatía hipóxica isquémica (EHI), según clasificación de Serrat. Fueron Aceptados 119 niños de los 5731 nacidos vivos siendo la incidencia de EHI de 1.93%, de ellos el 0.19% grado II o III. No se encontró dependencia entre los grados de EHI con la edad gestacional y la tinción de líquido amniótico, en cambio, si la hubo al analizar la puntuación de Apgar y los resultados del ultrasonido de cráneo realizado a las 24 horas de vida. Un 83% de los recién nacidos con EHI grado II o III presentaban una puntuación de Apgar bajo, a los 5 minutos de vida y el 91% tenían alteración del ultrasonido de cráneo resultando la mas frecuente el edema cerebral con el 73%.
