Dr. Jorge Naranjo Ferragut. Premio Finlay 2015-2016
Abstract
Una vez más convencidos de la grandeza de la Revolución cubana, la Plaza 27 de Noviembre de la Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de Pinar del Río fue el escenario escogido para la celebración el 13 y 15 de julio de la “Graduación 58 Aniversario del Triunfo de la Revolución” en homenaje al 90 cumpleaños de Fidel.
El acto solemne sirvió para la entrega del Premio Finlay 2015-2016 al doctor Jorge Naranjo Ferragurt, para reconocer la destacada trayectoria profesional del también Especialista de Segundo Grado en Medicina General Integral, Máster en Longevidad Satisfactoria y Profesor Auxiliar con un un amplio currículo y de servicios en su trayectoria profesional, quien recientemente regresara de una colaboración médica en la hermana República de Bolivia.
Vicedirector docente del Policlínico Universitario Luis Augusto Turcios Lima del municipio Pinar del Río, recibió emocionado, como todos sus colegas y discípulos, la imagen dorada del insigne científico cubano Dr. Carlo J. Finlay Barres, representa el más alto estímulo de la universidad médica pinareña.
En 1989 se instituyó el Premio “Carlos J. Finlay” como el mayor galardón que otorga la Facultad de Ciencias Médicas de Pinar del Río que se entrega en el acto de graduación del curso correspondiente. En este año el Dr. Juan Manuel Lemus Quintana, rector de la universidad médica hizo entrega de la estatuilla.
Lleguen a él las congratulaciones del claustro que reconocen en su persona el trabajo de años de esfuerzos palpables en la historia de la docencia médica superior y el salubrismo pinareños.
