Objective: to base the need to build specialized bodies that guarantee the coherence and efficiency of the integration of Information Technologies to the teaching – learning processes in the network of institutions into Angolan medical education.
Method: it is a study with mixed the approach applied through a structured interview, to the Deans of nine (9) institutions with medical academic courses in Angola, related to the direction and management of the Teaching Learning Process and the integration of Information Technologies. This survey was applied to professors and students in order to identify the competences and abilities they have developed in the management of information technologies at the basic level.
Results: the majority of the medical schools in Angola do not have a department, area or staff for the management of Educational Teaching Process supported on the Communication-Information Technologies, and those that have only meet the terms with technical functions and not to the management of the Teaching Learning Process along with the integration of Information Technologies.
