Los falsos amigos en la traducción del inglés al español

Abstract

Ante el auge y gran cantidad de información científica que es publicada durante la pandemia de la COVID-19, se debe prestar suma atención al empleo de términos que se han vuelto habituales. Se trata en este caso el uso particular de un «falso amigo» en la traducción del inglés al español: «respirador N95» y «respirador médico» en vez de mascarilla N95 o mascarilla médica.
