Presentación de un caso de disfagia aguda. Presentation of a Case the Acute Dysphagia
Abstract

ABSTRACT
A 54 year old white male patient with acute dysphagia and retrosternal pain presumably provoked by a strange and complicated body was admitted at the Otolaryngology Service from Abel Santamaria General Hospital, Pinar del Rio. The patient had a torpid evolution. Although several esophagoscopies were carried out, no strange body was found. After few days of admission, a hypovolemic shock due to the rupture of a dissecting aneurysm of the thorasic aorta inside the esophageal light caused patient's death. Interestingly, this entity was not valorated as a possible diagnosis regarding patient's symptoms and fatal evolution.
