Programme to improve counselling for families of children with manifestations of aggression

Introduction: the manifestations of aggressiveness in children constitute the most frequent Special Educational Needs not associated with disabilities in the world and in our country. The family environment constitutes a fundamental pillar for its prevention and treatment, which is why the orientation by the members of the Basic Health Team forms part of the pillars for the benefit of the individual development of these children.
Objective: propose an improvement program aimed at members of the Basic Health Team to guide families of children with manifestations of aggressiveness.
Methods: the methods of the theoretical level were taken into account for the elaboration of the proposal: analytical - synthetic, modeling; experimental empirical level, document analysis, observation, survey, interview.
Results: the evidence demonstrates the validity of the proposal by promoting the acquisition of knowledge and skills for counseling the families of children with manifestations of aggressiveness by team members. Hence the importance of maintaining and generalizing the program to the different health areas.
Conclusions: the knowledge and skills fostered by the proposed improvement program is capable of providing the Basic Health Team with the necessary instruments to develop comprehensive care for children with manifestations of aggressiveness in their communities in order to benefit their individual development from the support of his family environment.
