Sustainability strategy for the Master of Health Informatics faculty. 2020-2025

Introduction: the Master's Degree in Health Informatics is a driving force for research and development work in this field, allowing to continue raising the scientific and teaching level of health personnel according to the informatization processes in which the province is involved. Hence the importance of sustaining the development of the same by an increasingly prepared staff.
Objective: to elaborate a sustainability strategy for the faculty of the master's degree in Health Informatics of the University of Medical Sciences of Pinar del Río.
Methods: the research is based on the dialectic approach, which is assumed as the philosophical basis of the elements dealt with. From this approach, research methods, procedures and techniques were used, both theoretical and empirical, as well as mathematical-statistical ones such as: analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction and documentary analysis.
Results: the strategy promotes a set of actions aimed at raising the teaching, scientific and research category of the master's degree faculty, graduates, master's students and assistant students of the Health Information Systems program.
Conclusions: human resources play a decisive role in a quality management model, which is why it is a current imperative to work to achieve training, permanence, systematic growth and committed participation in the process, based on the knowledge of the potential of all those involved on the part of the managers.
