Using graphics in Cuban medical journals
Keywords:
Statistics, Teaching.Abstract
Given the low visibility of Cuban medical journals in the world, it is necessary to analyze one of the points that perhaps might affect the poor quality of the publications in general, the use of charts and diagrams, which in turn affect the process of teaching-learning in the medical sciences and health sciences students, which is not sufficient for the future of the analysis of the health situation and the research in the health sector. The usual basic graphics and their properties, as well as their design are suggested in order to be applied depending on the variables to be analyzed, which could contribute to standardize their use.
